A mysterious force knocks the moon from its orbit and sends it hurtling on a collision course toward earth.
Upon watching Moonfall, directed by Roland Emmerich, there seemed to be echoes reminiscent of previous disasters helmed by Stanley Kubrick, albeit with fewer philosophical musings instead opting entirely towards spectacle centered narratives. While I appreciated efforts placed toward envisioning potential catastrophic moon scenarios resulting due asteroid collisions - aspects like realism remain under par considering physics laws concerning gravitational shifts. Despite shortcomings existing therein dramatic arcs presented could still prove effective enough maintaining viewer engagement till end.
