Well reckon this Civil War yarn hits all the right notes for a history buff like me. The tale of a cavalry raid and the clash between Northern and Southern soldiers is gripping. Garfield spins a tight narrative that keeps ya engaged from start to finish. The characters feel real, with their grit and determination. It's a solid read that gives ya a taste of the military action and Southern flavor I enjoy. Worth the time, for sure.
