Notorious killer whale Tilikum is responsible for the deaths of three individuals, including a top killer whale trainer. Blackfish shows the sometimes devastating consequences of keeping such intelligent and sentient creatures in captivity.
I wasn't sure what to expect goin' into this documentary, but it sure opened my eyes. I ain't never been much of a whale lover, but this doc got me thinkin' twice about the amusement industry and how they treat them creatures. It was real eye-opening and definitely hit a nerve. I reckon it's worth a watch if you got some time on your hands and want to see something a bit different from the usual action flicks.
