Four black veterans battle the forces of man and nature when they return to Vietnam seeking the remains of their fallen squad leader and the gold fortune he helped them hide.
This film really brought that raw, unfiltered emotion to the screen. It digs deep into the scars left by the Vietnam War, showing how it shapes and haunts the lives of those who lived through it. The chemistry between the characters was tight, and you could feel the brotherhood and the weight of their shared history. Definitely carries that Spike Lee touch of grit and truth-telling.
