During World War II, a rebellious U.S. Army Major is assigned a dozen convicted murderers to train and lead them into a mass assassination mission of German officers.
This flick really took me back to the days of gritty war movies. The story of a bunch of misfit soldiers on a suicide mission was something else. The action scenes were intense, and you could feel the weight of every decision these guys made. The camaraderie among the soldiers was something else. It's a solid watch for anyone who appreciates military history and the real deal when it comes to war movies. Lee Marvin's performance was top-notch, as always.
